Brief
This lounge was the business’s first attempt at a passenger lounge area and their aim was to trial their first airport lounge with a different focus and target market.
The lounge was established as a casual ‘pay as you go’ operation. The theme and feel of the space was to embody the company’s culture which portrayed a casual yet well apportioned service.
The business itself appeals to the traveler who requires a professional + comprehensive service but wants to target their funds to an experience that really counts in taking a journey. The lounge must portray that philosophy and provide a stop along the journey to reboot, relax and continue on to the adventures awaiting the traveler.

IN2 SPACE provided a collaborative Interior Design, Documentation + Project Management service for the proposed commercial lounge project.
The Commercial Interior design + delivery solution provided by IN2 SPACE assisted Jetstar in producing a patron’s facility that would provide both an inviting + relaxed atmosphere.
Much thought went into catering for children of all ages, with a younger child’s play area complete with bean bags, blackboard + an older child’s cinema area complete with tiered viewing positions + popcorn, created to keep the restless travelers occupied + further enhance their travel.
