Brief               

The partners of this new business wanted to create a professional, inviting and visually exciting space for staff + visitors alike.

Being a start up, the commercial office fit out space  needed to cater for the initially planned number of staff but was to be extremely flexible to be able to cater for planned + unplanned growth that would occur with a new venture.

Workstation + workspace flexibility was to be the pivotal factor in ensuring the leased space would cater for growth in the business area.

The commercial office space was to contain all the requirements of a professional office with exceptional meeting spaces for visitors + a well appointed catering area to service the numerous functions + events that the business conducted.  The planning of the utility spaces was extremely important due to the involved operations that the business undertook.


Outcome       

IN2 SPACE was commissioned to produce a new workspace for the young firm. IN2 SPACE provided a complete end-to-end service; Designing, Documenting, Project Managing, Constructing + providing all the fixtures + fittings for the project.

The delivery of the completed commercial office space was on time + on budget with all the office fit out aspects handled without any delays. The front of house was an important receiving + entertaining client space + was created with the flexibility + intention of being able to open up the various meeting spaces to create a larger entertainment hub.

Careful consideration was given to the workspaces as they were designed to be functional + visually stimulating, allowing expansion and flexibility into the future as the business grows + potentially shifts its focus. Talent International is an Australian owned IT Services + Recruitment company specialising in the supply of high quality IT professionals throughout Australia with their new Melbourne commercial office located in the CBD.

Brief               

IN2 SPACE were chosen from a number of design firms to assist the business to establish a presence in Melbourne.  The brief provided was to create a space that was impressive + catered for growth as the business established itself in the recruitment market locally. Competition locally was very strong so the business space was to assist in securing new business + support the evolution of the business.

Office, meeting + entertaining spaces were to be flexible + to allow easy inexpensive alteration to the working space layout as required.

The commercial office space was located in a very busy area of the building where patrons transitioned between the buildings, food facilities + the main office areas. The business wanted to take the opportunity of this office set up to market themselves to these potential new clients.


Outcome       

IN2 SPACE was commissioned to produce a new commercial workspace for the firm who were looking at opening their first offices in the Melbourne CBD.

Our interior design services were used by the client to successfully produce a front reception + interviewing areas which had a striking sense of presence when entering the space.  The layout allowed flexibility in catering for all the business’s meeting needs + functions.

The general staffing areas were predominantly  modular in arrangement + the furniture comprised of being manufactured from highly sustainable materials.  The layout was an open plan format that allowed expansion + the shifting of work groups easily.

Company     

 Limon Remcon is a Financial + Insurance business located in South Melbourne with offices regionally supporting its operation.

Brief               

This firm was born from a very large financial + insurance firm and had splintered years prior. It had been operating for a period of years now with an established + solid client base. The business had not afforded much thought for refurbishing its space as the main focus was to grow + establish themselves.

IN2 SPACE was selected from a number of Commercial office Interior Design firms to assist in revamping the existing office workspace + to also design and fitout a new supporting business on another floor in the building to support the parent firm.

IN2 SPACE was asked to Design, Document, Construct, Project manage + provide a complete fit out service for the refurbished + new offices in their South Melbourne location.

The existing business occupied a floor in the building + the intention of the refurbishment works was to secure their place by ensuring the space had the flexibility to cater for another five to ten year lease period to be secured.  The business had ancillary + associated businesses located within the same building so successfully revamping its offices to see it through many years to come was of vital importance.


Outcome       

IN2 SPACE provided a complete end-to-end service; Designing + Project Managing all works + providing a re-planned and refurbished fit out for the Melbourne offices.

 Strategic planning + careful coordination was required to allow the works to be undertaken in stages, without disrupting business processes + the continuation of the operations throughout the many stages required to complete the refurbishment.

The result was the creation of a space that was comfortable, dynamic + fresh in appearance which would allow the business to grow + expand into the future. Workstation spaces were modern in appearance + the colour scheme used was uplifting + would not date easily so that in years to come the space would still appear current. The client areas were elegant in appearance + all the meeting spaces were planned well to allow for the varied functions hosted.

Stanwycks, established in 1970 are CPA’s specialising in Accounting  + Tax + Business Consulting, servicing commercial businesses in Melbourne.


Brief               

The brief provided to IN2 SPACE detailed requirements that the new corporate headquarters was to be accommodated in a dynamic, invigorating + professionally looking commercial office workspace.

Moving out of their existing commercial offices which were housed in an outdated building in East Melbourne, the firm purchased a warehouse floor in a building in the Melbourne suburb of Southbank.

The purchased office space was in an original un-renovated condition so careful consideration was to be given to its refurbishment.

The existing business was transitioning a growth phase + the new commercial offices in Melbourne were to house the administration staff predominately in workstations and numerous senior staff in offices. All the remaining ancillary + support areas were to be planned and designed thereby enabling support to the business as effectively + efficiently as possible.

As light entering the building was limited, careful planning was required to provide adequate light + views for the interior + its staff.

The client spaces consisted of a reception + meeting area tightly integrated to allow flexibility with business meetings + client entertainment.

The general office space is designed allowing for as much natural light filtration + expansion flexibility as possible. Structural changes were detailed + undertaken to provide additional windows in building walls + skylights in ceilings to enable a greater infiltration of natural light into the space. Low height workstation screens + a light colour scheme were chosen to help achieve the results required.

Careful consideration to detailing + inclusions were documented which allowed for the works to be constructed within the financial restrictions applied by the owners for the office fitout.

Established in 1980 Ligeti Partners is a specialised commercial litigation + insurance law practice , with a total staff count of over fifty.

Brief

IN2 SPACE were commissioned to provide an innovative solution for the commercial office space.

It was crucial that this new office space design enable them to occupy the building for a very long time to come as their preference was to produce a space that would support future business changes + allow them to facilitate those changes economically + seamlessly.

The business had been established for a very long period, in the same building, in the CBD in Melbourne + serviced the legal fraternity by being located near the legal hub of town.

As a requirement of the process of relocating, the organisation wanted to rejuvenate + upscale their business presence + give staff a more efficient + dynamic working environment.

Departments + individuals were to be housed in a manner which allowed collaboration between areas yet provided structured + well apportioned areas with numerous locations for storage + working bays.

It was important that the space have a location for all staff to gather, come together + socialise in order to encourage interaction + build working relationships. This approach was based on an awareness that being spread over a few floors might mean that staff could become insular + isolated within their immediate areas.

Company

Kligers is a commercial + property legal firm with strong commercial litigation, intellectual property, employment + information technology law divisions with its head office located in the Melbourne CBD.


Brief

For a substantial amount of time, business had been located in the same commercial office building in the CBD prior to embarking on this important relocation.

It was imperative that the planning + solution would provide the business stakeholders with a commercial office space that would last the test of time as their intention + their preference was to move now + remain in that same space for a long time to come. They requested we give detailed consideration about how to achieve this in our planning for the project.

The business was dynamic but its interiors were dated + stale in appearance. With this relocation they required that the business be provided with a new contemporary public image that reflected the business’s ambitions + goals for its growth + advancement into the future.

Working office areas required functional + strategic planning to enable the business to cope with + support the planned growth, along with flexibility to support change going forward.

One of the principle business owners was an art collector + very excited to be able to exhibit

numerous different art pieces within the space we were creating for them.

Alexander Robertson is a property consultancy with specialisation in commercial real estate in the Central Business District + major suburban centers in Melbourne with the main office located in the Melbourne CBD.

The firm was founded by the director’s father many years prior, had amassed a substantial portfolio + were well renowned for sales within the Melbourne CBD.


Brief

IN2 SPACE was commissioned to provide a complete end to end service for Alexander Robertson. This included designing and project managing all works for the relocation of their commercial office space to their chosen commercial office building in the Melbourne CBD.

The business had recently experienced a growth phase + simultaneously took on the sole management of a landmark building in the city of Melbourne.

Requiring to be located within the building they were servicing, they requested that the space designed and constructed by IN2 SPACE was to provide them with a canvas that could be used to successfully market the business + allow them to further grow + be supported within that space.

As the real-estate agency market competition was fierce they required a presence which expressed commercial professionalism yet a unique + interesting office.

The business has been established for many years and was located in a dated looking building and office space + was needing to move to a new location to establish a more modern and forward projecting image to their clientele + staff alike. Their current office layout was not ideal and they were looking at achieving greater efficiency through design + implementation.

The business’s image was reinforced using large graphic imagery, colours + finishes that echoed the brand. Brief

There were a number of important parts of this office relocation that required careful design, planning and management:
