  Diageo is the world's leading premium alcoholic drinks company. The business is an enormous marketing machine with presentation being a pivotal role in its operation. The brands they promote are dynamic market leaders such as Smirnoff, Guinness + Johnnie Walker.
  The staff + management comprise of many dynamic young professionals with backgrounds including advertising + marketing.

• Brief

  Situated in the busy precinct of Richmond, where space is limited, the organisation was tied to the existing space for another 5 years. The Brief was to enable the space to dynamically project the business + its culture + to make the best use of an accommodation space that was realistically too small for the business.

• Outcome

  We achieved accommodation efficiencies above 50% over the existing accommodation through innovative planning + intelligent desking solutions. Marketing, Presentation, Functionality, Dynamics + Attitude was the driving force behind the concept behind the creation of the space.

  The previous accommodation reflected a dated planning philosophy incorporating a standard office layout with offices around the perimeter, workstations in the centre + a series of meeting room spaces in one corner of the workplace. It was a badly fitting shirt + tie when what they needed was a comfortable + dynamic fitting garment with flexibility + malleability.

  We were able to achieve, in aligning with their business philosophy, a space that embraced the spontaneous dynamics of doing business, an arena where they could receive + entertain their clients + showcase their brands, products, + their way of life.

  Clear sight lines to the concourse, gathering + bar spaces area were created at the entrance to the space. These gathering areas are used by all levels of the organisation + visitors + for all levels of meetings + interaction. The organisation is involved in an industry of hyperactivity which is reflected in their space expressing a feeling of openness + energy that inspires creative thinking + interaction.

  Meeting rooms are placed around a central pivotal concourse area with the Bar being important in tying the spaces together + simulating the real life arena for the products. All meeting rooms are constructed using floor to ceiling glass operable walls, which allows a view to the concourse + allows a numerous combination of spaces to be created. Arrangements cater for small + large team gatherings, brainstorming sessions, training sessions, large gatherings + functions.

  In the General office work area there are numerous 3-desk pods with low height dividing screens + product banners displayed above them. The pods are laid out throughout the space to encourage communication, interaction + the line of sight is clear from one end to the other.
  A Hot desking area for transient sales staff was created having its own light filled surroundings, continuous desking, metal lockers,communications + services points laid out generously for easy + instant connectivity.
  Utility areas throughout the space + a central copying transmittal area were created to support the business requirements.

  The well-planned execution of works by IN2 SPACE allowed Diageo's numerous business + timing constraints to be met easily + this meant they were able to operate normally whilst works were undertaken. The completed project surpassed all expectations + stands as one of the firms stellar achievements.
